Currachs

G'day Chuck,
I just got back last week from Ireland. I took lots of photos of wooden boats and some not wooden boats. I thought you might like to look at some Currachs from the west coast of Mayo. They are now covered with fiberglass, though some are still covered in canvas and bitumen.

This is my brother inlaw's "new boat". His other boat was crushed by a drunk Scotsman driving a 290 ton barge while tied to the pier in Belliglass.
