CAJUN PIROGUE

by Frank Woods and Trey

Hi Chuck,
attached are pictures of our latest building effort, a Cajun Pirogue. The boat is 15' long and 31" wide. We used 1/4" luan for the sides and bottom, clear framing lumber for the frames and chines. We used PL premium glue and brass screws to stick it together.

As you can see, I've got a good helper, my grandson son Trey is learning to use tools and really likes boats.

The pirogue will be my third boat, the other two being a brick and a jon boat. I have really enjoyed building the pirogue, especially working with Trey boy. I hope that you can find space to include the pictures on your site.
