A nice restoration project
by Chris Partridge

Hi Chuck,

I have just been to Monte Carlo for very justifiable and tax-deductable work reasons. Taking a stroll round the harbour at Fontvieille, a classic shape stood out from the mass of Tupperware like a good deed in a naughty world.

It was Zaca, Errol Flynn’s boat, built in 1928. A bunch of guys were making hatch covers, painting the sides, welding up metal bits and all the other things that a boat this age needs in the winter.

An ideal opportunity to indulge my hobby of watching other people work, and here are some pictures to prove it (taken with my mobile phone - isn’t technology wonderful?).

There are lots of much better pics at <https://www.zaca.com>.

All best wishes,
Chris
